Can engaging Goanna Solutions help us meet our Indigenous procurement targets?

Yes. As a Supply Nation certified Indigenous enterprise, engagements with Goanna Solutions count towards Commonwealth Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) targets, State Government Aboriginal procurement policies, and organisational Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) commitments. We can provide certification documentation to support your reporting requirements.

How does engaging an Indigenous supplier support our RAP?

Reconciliation Action Plans typically include commitments to increase procurement from Indigenous businesses. Engaging Goanna Solutions directly contributes to these commitments. Beyond the procurement transaction, partnering with us supports broader reconciliation objectives by contributing to Indigenous economic participation, employment and capability development.

Can you help us identify opportunities for Indigenous procurement?

Yes. We can work with your procurement team to identify where our services align with your requirements and how engagement with Goanna Solutions could be structured to support your Indigenous procurement and supplier diversity objectives.

What is the best way to engage Goanna Solutions?

You can contact us via the contact form on our website or call us on 1300 596 885. For government clients on relevant panels, you can engage us directly through the applicable procurement arrangement. We’re happy to have an initial conversation to understand your requirements and recommend the most appropriate engagement model.

Staffing & Workforce Solutions

What types of roles do you recruit for?

We recruit across technology, digital and professional services domains. This includes ICT support and service desk roles, software developers, project managers, business analysts, cybersecurity specialists, data analysts, cloud engineers, network engineers, and a range of other technical and professional roles. We also recruit for executive and senior leadership positions.

Yes. We provide fully compliant labour hire services for project-based, campaign and ongoing requirements. Our labour hire arrangements are aligned with client policies and modern award requirements. We hold labour hire licences in Queensland, Victoria and the ACT.

What is workforce augmentation?

Workforce augmentation is the provision of additional skilled resources to supplement your existing team, typically for programs, projects or periods of increased demand. We can provide individual specialists or multi-person teams depending on your requirements. This model allows organisations to scale capacity up or down without the overhead of permanent recruitment.

Do you handle onboarding and compliance?

Yes. We manage candidate onboarding, documentation, employment checks, compliance management and payroll administration. This approach reduces the administrative burden on client organisations and ensures that workers are job-ready from day one.

What checks do you conduct on candidates?

Our screening processes include verification of qualifications, credentials and experience, reference checks, and relevant background checks such as police checks and Working with Children checks where required. Specific check requirements can be tailored to client and role requirements.

Do you provide a guarantee on placements?

Yes. We offer a replacement guarantee for permanent placements in the event that a candidate leaves prematurely. Terms and conditions apply and can be discussed as part of the engagement.

Can you provide Indigenous candidates?

With Indigenous people making up between 3% and 5% of the Australian population, along with a legacy of exclusion and constrained economic and educational opportunity – there are fewer First Nations people in and around the digital and technology sector than we would like. In fact, our whole reason for existing is to bring First Nations people into the digital economy and support them to thrive.

We actively work to identify, develop and place Indigenous candidates. Through our social impact focus, we are building pathways for First Nations people into technology and digital careers. However, we do not exclusively place Indigenous candidates — we focus on matching the right candidate to each role based on skills, experience and fit.

We provide practical, outcomes-focused support including process mapping and opportunity identification, AI advisory and tool selection, workflow automation design and implementation, AI-assisted analysis and decision support tools,  AI assisted workflows, system integration, and governance and responsible use guidance.

How do you approach AI projects?

We take a consultative approach that starts with understanding how your organisation actually works — including current processes, constraints, risks and decision points — before recommending or implementing any AI or automation solutions. Rather than deploying technology for its own sake, we work alongside teams to identify where AI-enabled tools can genuinely add value.

Can you help us identify where AI could add value?

Yes. Our process mapping and opportunity identification service maps existing processes to identify manual effort, bottlenecks and decision points where automation or AI-assisted tools could deliver meaningful value. This provides a clear, prioritised view of opportunities before any implementation investment.

Do you help with AI governance?

Yes. We place strong emphasis on governance, transparency and responsible use. We help organisations understand both the capabilities and limitations of AI-based tools, and ensure that AI and automation solutions are practical, explainable, secure and aligned with organisational objectives, regulatory expectations and client needs.

What cybersecurity services do you provide?

Our cybersecurity services include cybersecurity assessments and maturity reviews, security uplift programs and control implementation, risk management and governance support, vendor and supply chain risk assessment, policy and procedure development, and alignment with relevant government and industry frameworks.

What is your approach to cybersecurity?

We focus on practical uplift, governance and assurance rather than fear-based messaging or technology for its own sake. We help organisations understand their cyber risk in context and take proportionate, defensible action to improve security. Our recommendations focus on what is achievable, effective and defensible given operational constraints and risk appetite.

What cybersecurity frameworks do you work with?

We work with relevant government and industry frameworks including the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), Essential Eight, NSW Cyber Security Policy, SOC2 and other frameworks as applicable to client context and regulatory requirements.

Do you conduct vendor risk assessments?

Yes. We have specific experience in vendor and supply chain cybersecurity risk assessment. Our work with NSW Government involved a structured program of vendor risk assessments using an industry-leading platform to centralise vendor data and ensure compliance with policy requirements.
